Working alongside the C Three Foundation, our joint mission is to educate doctors, alcoholics, family and friends of alcohol-dependant people about the most successful long term treatment for alcoholism: The Sinclair Method.

Joanna Duyvenvoorde, S.A.C. Dip -Trustee

Joanna is a Lincolnshire, England native with a 16-year career in personal banking.  She left the industry in 2008 to partner with her brother in a joint business venture.  Joanna holds a Level 4 certification (Distinction) in Drug, Solvent & Alcohol Abuse Counselling and also graduated from the Society for Companion Animal Studies (SCAS) as a qualified Pet Bereavement Counsellor for the UK animal charity, The Blue Cross.

In October 2013, Joanna began TSM using naltrexone.  In an effort to help others, she set up C3 Foundation Europe in April 2014 to help raise awareness of TSM.  Under Joanna’s guidance, C3 Foundation Europe has been instrumental in aiding with information and resources both before and after the approval of Nalmefene (Selincro) as a medical treatment for AUD in the EU member states.   C3 Foundation Europe also provides support for people worldwide, in countries as far away as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, America and Canada.

In her spare time, Joanna is a keen cyclist and animal enthusiast.

 

Moyra Gough - Trustee

Moyra graduated in 1984 from University College London with a B.A. (Hons) in Scandinavian Studies and a qualification to teach English as a foreign language, and moved to Stockholm, Sweden, where she lived for several years.  She brings almost 30 years of experience as a professional translator from Swedish to English to the C Three Foundation and has been instrumental in facilitating the translation of critical TSM information into both Swedish and German.

In addition to working mainly in the commercial sphere as a translator, Moyra is a former voluntary worker for Relate UK, which provides counselling, support and information for all types of interpersonal relationships.  She has provided invaluable support to both the C Three Foundation and C3 Foundation Europe.

Born in Stratford-upon-Avon, England, Moyra’s hobbies include reading, cooking, history, travel and off-road driving.

Claudia Christian, S.A.C. Dip - Trustee

Claudia is an award-winning performer who has been acting professionally since she was 18. With more than 120 credits, her diverse body of work appears in both television and film.

She has recorded five albums, was the voice of Helga Sinclair in Disney’s animated movie, Atlantis, the star of the audio book series Anne Manx, and she was the voice of Jaguar cars as well as character voices in the video games Guild Wars and SkyRim.

Claudia has written several books, both fiction and non-fiction — including her 2012 memoir Babylon Confidential in which she chronicles her decade-long battle with alcoholism.

She continues to work in film and television, recently appearing in Grimm, Criminal Minds, Mentalist, Castle and more, but she is focused on promoting The Sinclair Method, the most successful long-term treatment for alcoholism in the world. Claudia is an advocate for the treatment and in 2013 launched The C Three Foundation to raise awareness about the method. In 2014 she produced the award winning documentary “One Little Pill” which is based on her journey on The Sinclair Method and follows people who she has put on it in addition to explaining the science behind this life saving treatment.
